Cholecystectomy for gallbladder stone or polyp is one of the most common operation in the abdominal area. Formerly this operation usually needed long incision on the abdominal wall. On the contrary, Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (LC) developed in resent years can be performed through short skin incisions about 10 - 20mm in length. LC reduces pain and cosmetic disfigrement, and promotes rapid recovery. Therefore LC has been universally accepted as a minimally invasive operation.
We are pleased to introduce this new procedure.
